彩虹滑道受濕度和影響較大，在雨水、雪的影響下，滑速加快，比晴朗炎熱天氣的滑行速度增加20%左右，因此在緩沖區(qū)長度和減速的設(shè)計上需要進行包含性設(shè)計處理，根據(jù)客戶的運營需求（如四季運營或單季節(jié)運營）進行特殊處理。

彩虹滑道種類

（1）直滑道

直滑道速度快，長距離加速，一滑到底，但距離不宜過長，以免速度太快過于刺激，一般控制在100-150m左右，滑道可做單人滑道（2m寬），也可以做雙人（3.5m寬）及多人滑道。

（2）波浪滑道

波浪滑道如同波浪一樣，具有速度及加重失重的感覺變化，玩法更加豐富，可以設(shè)計長距離滑道，可以設(shè)計為150-1000m，滑道可以做單人滑道（2m寬），也可以做雙人（3.5m寬）及多人滑道。

（3）彎曲滑道

彎曲滑道具有轉(zhuǎn)彎的功能，可以與波浪滑道結(jié)合，從山頂依山式滑下，可以充當下山工具的功能，低成本解決下山的交通工具問題，同時兼具速度變化、方向變化及失重感，更加刺激，兼具娛樂性和功能性。彎曲滑道可以根據(jù)山體的坡體長度和山體形狀進行設(shè)計，理論上可以做到任何長度，一般需要500m的長度以上才能體現(xiàn)彎曲滑道的價值。
