Under the section REACH / “Registered Substances" we provide a list of substances, which Borealis has
registered, including the registration numbers.
As polymers are exempt from REACH registration, no registration information on individual polyolefin grades
can be provided. However, Borealis confirms that all relevant monomers and other ingredients in our
polyolefin products are registered by Borealis or its suppliers and are fully REACH compliant if at least one of
the two following sentences apply to you:
1. You are supplied with Borealis material that was manufactured/formulated in Borealis’ EU production
plants.
2. You are situated in an EU or EEA country and are supplied with Borealis material
manufactured/formulated in Borealis non-EU production plants and these materials are directly
supplied by a Borealis subsidiary.
The above also applies to our recycled product portfolio produced in any of our EU subsiduaries. We have
identified the monomers of the polymers we recover from waste within the European Community. Since all of
them have been registered within the EU and sufficient safety information is available to us we are able to
make use of the registration exemption as outlined in Article 2(7)(d) of REACH.

ECHA candidate list of substances of very high concern (SVHC) for authorization, updated on 27 June
2024, at or above 0.1% by weight.*
