TPV主要由二部分組成，一是塑料作為連續(xù)相，二是橡膠作為分散相，通常橡膠需要與軟化油或增塑劑與之配合，硫化劑和一些輔助助劑也是必不可少的，另外為了降低成本或者提高某方面的性能，一些無機(jī)填料會(huì)被填加。

1、良好的彈性和耐壓縮變形性，耐環(huán)境、耐老化性相當(dāng)于三元乙丙橡膠，同時(shí)其耐油耐溶劑性能與通用型氯丁橡膠不相上下。

2、應(yīng)用溫度范圍廣（– 60—150℃），軟硬度應(yīng)用范圍廣(25A—54D),易染色的優(yōu)點(diǎn)大大提高了制品設(shè)計(jì)的自由度。

3、優(yōu)良的加工性能：可用注射、擠出等熱塑性塑料的加工方法加工，高效、簡單易行，無需增添設(shè)備，流動(dòng)性高、收縮率小。

4、綠色環(huán)保，可回收使用，且反復(fù)使用六次性能無明顯下降，符合歐盟環(huán)保要求。

5、比重輕（0.90—0.97），外觀質(zhì)量均勻，表面檔次高，手感好。
