一、GENERAL DESCRIPTION

The XB3153IS product is a highintegration solution for lithiumion/polymer battery protection.
XB3153IS contains advanced powerMOSFET, high-accuracy voltagedetection circuits and delay circuits.
XB3153IS is put into an ultra-smallSOT23-3 package and only oneexternal component makes it an idealsolution in limited space of battery pack.
XB3153IS has all the protection functionsrequired in the battery application includingovercharging, overdischarging, overcurrent
and load short circuiting protection etc. Theaccurate overcharging detection voltageensures safe and full utilization charging.
The low standby current drains little currentfrom the cell while in storage.
The device is not only targeted for digitalcellular phones, but also for any other
Li-Ion and Li-Poly battery-poweredinformation appliances requiring longterm battery life.
