德國洛克進口低溫球閥經(jīng)特殊的低溫處理，將粗加工的零件置于冷卻介質中數(shù)小時（2-6小時），以釋放應力，確保材料的低溫性能，保證精加工尺寸，以防閥門在低溫工況時，因溫度變化造成變形而導致的泄漏。閥門的裝配與普通閥門也不同，零件需經(jīng)過嚴格的清洗，除去任何油污，以保證使用性能。

主要適用于乙烯、液化天然氣等化工裝置上，輸出的液態(tài)低溫介質如乙烯、液氧、液氫等。這類介質不但易燃易爆，而且在升溫時要氣化、氣化是體積膨脹數(shù)百倍。而且這些介質滲透力強，易泄露，加工制造比較困難。
